Job Title: Data Processor 2

Job Summary:

This position is part of the Digitization Unit in the Information Management Bureau. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating program activities, processing incoming correspondence, payments, returns, and data. The position requires maintaining data, tracking system performance, and ensuring secure handling and processing of taxpayer information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate program activities and process incoming correspondence, payments, returns, and data
  • Maintain data and track system performance
  • Ensure secure handling and processing of taxpayer information
  • Provide consultation, technical assistance, training, and outreach to internal and external users
  • Oversee system research, enhancement, validation, readiness, and reporting projects

Requirements:

  • Business administration and office operations experience
  • Automated data processing systems and information systems management skills
  • Records management and communications expertise
  • Program management and project planning abilities
  • Public communication principles and system and program support skills
  • Data processing methodology and data mapping methodology knowledge
  • Research and analysis, multi-tasking, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources and escalation and support techniques
  • Software requirements development and documenting instructions, FAQ's, training materials, and procedures
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, conflict resolution, and Microsoft programs and other database applications
  • Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Identifying system problems and resolving them, priority processing returns and correspondence, and digitizing returns and payments
