We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability, Health & Safety (SHS) Program Manager to join our team at Badger Daylighting Corp. As a key member of our operations management team, you will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of our SHS program performance by ensuring program implementation, adherence, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a 1-year business plan that aligns with our overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager's business plan.
- Ensure consistent application of the Badger safety program across the organization, by SHS professionals, Badger employees, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to and support adoption of applicable regulatory changes and communicate the appropriate changes to Badger personnel.
- Conduct priority-based area visits across the organization to complete coaching, mentoring, and trust-building activities.
- Support accident and incident investigations, review, and preparation of incident reports and summaries, including the preparation and distribution of "Safety Alerts" from post-accident results.
- Education: Undergraduate degree, Graduate degree preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Preferred
- Knowledge of Federal, state, provincial, and local safety, transportation, and environmental regulations
- Knowledge of industry safety training
- 5+ years' experience preferred in the following industries: Vacuum, Pump Trucks, or Fleet, Commercial Underground Construction and/or Utilities, Oil and Gas, Waste
