Job Title: Lead Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for leading a team of ultrasound technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Job Summary:

The Lead Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of ultrasound technologists and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensuring the highest level of patient care and diagnostic accuracy
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for ultrasound imaging
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Providing education and training to staff members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S)
  • Abdomen and OB Registry required
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible ultrasound technologist work experience
  • Excellent analytical and clinical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
