Pediatric Physical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing functional rehabilitation to children and adolescents with neurological injuries or conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state where practicing.
- Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injuries.
- Effective communication and professionalism in verbal and written interactions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job, including moving, lifting, or transferring patients.
