Criterion Child Enrichment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an Early Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children from birth to three years old.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in Developmental Enrichment Groups: Collaborate with our experienced team to design and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children.
- Curriculum Development and Planning: Assist in creating and adapting curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Support Children's Learning: Engage with children in activities such as art, sensory play, gross motor skills, and free play, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
- Group Routines and Support: Assist with daily routines, including set-up, clean-up, snack preparation, and toileting/diapering, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an early intervention or developmental enrichment setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
