Job Title: Early Intervention Teaching Assistant

At HSMC, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention programs, you will play a vital role in providing education, training, and support to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in developmental enrichment groups with children and their parents, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Assist in planning and developing curriculum and activities for group sessions, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
  • Support children's learning through engagement in activities such as art, sensory play, gross motor skills, and free play.
  • Assist with group routines, including set-up, clean-up, snack preparation, and toileting/diapering.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred
  • Bilingual/Bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply
