Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team as a Multisite Crisis Intervention Specialist. This role will involve working with law enforcement and responding to crisis situations in the community. The ideal candidate will be flexible, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Accompany first-responding officers to call-out situations, promoting a healthy and helpful environment.
- Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation of individuals and families in crisis.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling.
- Maintain linkages with community services and provide documented case consultations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related counseling field and a minimum of two years' experience in crisis intervention.
- Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.
- Excellent client intake, interviewing, and assessment skills.
- Proactive, ethical, creative, and enthusiastic approach, with strong interpersonal skills.
