About the Role

As the Safety Director at STRUCTURAL, a leading industry player in innovative infrastructure repair solutions, you will play a critical role in promoting our 24/7 Safety Culture. Your technical expertise will support operational teams, and you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing safety strategies to minimize incidents and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Leading training programs in safety requirements, hazardous condition monitoring, and safe performance of work tasks.
  • Conducting safety assessments and root-cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compiling and analyzing statistical data to inform safety initiatives.
  • Participating in project-specific pre-planning processes as a Subject Matter Expert.

Requirements

To be considered for this strategic safety leadership position, you must have:

  • Certification from a recognized certification board, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Safety Auditor.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, Construction, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in safety construction management, with 10+ years in a supervisory and leadership role overseeing construction safety operations.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
  • Previous experience working for a self-performing contractor and dealing with union trades is preferred.
  • Travel is required for this position.
