Key Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will deliver engineering and consulting expertise across a diverse range of projects and clients. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting and/or leading field assessments, performing engineering analyses, calculations, and formulating recommendations, as well as designing and drafting plans and specifications. You will also oversee observation and inspection activities and prepare, review, and finalize related reports.

Your role will include evaluating drawings and construction to ensure adherence to established plans and specifications. You will prepare proposals and cost estimates, monitor project progress and budgets, and suggest necessary modifications. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve design and construction challenges while overseeing the assessment of laboratory or field data for report inclusion.

Utilizing sound engineering principles, you will effectively communicate complex engineering topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your services may extend to existing or proposed projects in sectors such as public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial fields.

Essential Duties:
  • Champion safety initiatives for the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a secure work environment.
  • Encourage ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement throughout projects, maintaining high standards and practices.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project-related risks and implement strategies to safeguard the organization.
  • Provide senior-level engineering expertise, guiding the production and completion of both standard and complex projects.
  • Conceptualize initial designs and investigative approaches for significant project phases or assume overall responsibility for engineering tasks on moderately scoped projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work, addressing conventional practices while accommodating complex design requirements.
  • Review projects necessitating advanced investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in client reports; conduct technical reviews of these reports.
  • Lead technical training initiatives and make informed decisions based on contemporary technological advancements.
  • Oversee marketing, sales, and business development efforts.
  • Supervise junior engineers or technical support staff on projects.
  • Act as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8-11 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Credentials:
  • Authorized Project Reviewer status.
