Qualifications:
- Skills: Proficient in reading thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; must possess the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in gerontological nursing and dementia care.
- Licensure: A valid and current LPN/LVN state license is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods. The role requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects up to 20 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds unassisted. Full use of gross and fine motor skills is essential for tasks such as treatment administration, dressing changes, medication supervision, and documentation.
