We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Slingshot Aerospace. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, including provisioning hardware and software, and setting up user accounts.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement solutions to improve system performance and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures and policies, and provide training to employees on IT-related topics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and make recommendations for improvements to our IT infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, with a strong background in desktop support and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
- Experience with Microsoft and Mac OS, as well as other software applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Okta or other identity providers.
- Knowledge of MDM software, such as Mosyle or Intune.
- Experience with hardware provisioning and procurement.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
