The Embraer Crew Chief is a critical role within our team at StandardAero, responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of aircraft maintenance. This position requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of technicians in the performance of aircraft maintenance, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards and on time.
- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring that maintenance activities are completed within budget.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Valid FAA A&P Certificates.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an A&P Mechanic in corporate aviation working with Embraer aircraft.
- Experience leading and/or supervising a crew.
- Demonstrated technical ability on airframes in the areas of heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and service bulletins.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Ability to work outside of designated work hours, as well as weekends/overtime.
