Position Overview

Stealth Recruiting Services is seeking a dedicated Regional Material Planner Manager to enhance our supply chain operations. This role is crucial in managing the logistics associated with raw materials and components essential for production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee long-term material planning for active ingredients.
  • Supervise Material Requirements Planning (MRP) across all manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure MRP aligns with production strategies for both internal and external facilities.
  • Deliver detailed material forecasts to procurement and finance teams.
  • Actively participate in regular calibration meetings with procurement teams.

Material Requirements Planning:

  • Execute the Material Requirements Plan for active ingredients, including the preparation and confirmation of planned orders.
  • Convert suggestions into purchase requisitions promptly and resolve any exceptions.
  • Collaborate efficiently with stakeholders, including site Production Schedulers and Regional Supply Planners.
  • Provide accurate procurement forecasts for local materials and suppliers.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock while preventing shortages or excess.
  • Conduct monthly reporting in line with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Align with internal and global forecasting during the monthly IBP cycle to ensure synchronization and collaboration.
  • Validate MRP exceptions and recommend actions to create a viable Material Requirements Plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Operational Supply Chain and Supply Planning, particularly in Materials Planning/MRP.
  • Ability to mentor and develop site planners in utilizing industry-standard tools and practices.
  • Experience in Chemical Manufacturing is preferred.
  • APICS certifications are a plus.
