Position Overview

ATC Mount Laurel is seeking a dedicated CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA). The CNA is responsible for delivering essential personal care services to patients across various healthcare environments, guided by a licensed professional. This role involves providing nursing care tailored to the specific age group of the patients served.

Work Schedule

SHIFTS: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM, and 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM
COMPENSATION: $24 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and paid holidays.

Qualifications for the CNA Role
  • Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program and/or successful completion of a competency evaluation that meets state standards.
  • Possession of unrestricted certification as a CNA, meeting state-specific certification requirements.
  • A minimum of six months of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certification as required by the facility, along with any other health screenings mandated by specific facilities or regulatory bodies.
Working Environment
  • Various healthcare facility settings, with potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other infectious materials.
Key Responsibilities of the CNA
  • Adhere to ATC policies and procedures.
  • Follow nursing policies and procedures of the client facility.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient care and facility practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Effectively communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patient care as required by facility protocols.
  • Implement the patient's care plan as directed.
  • Provide personal care services to patients as assigned.
  • Measure and record vital signs in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Document patient intake and output as assigned.
  • Enhance skills through continuing education and meet state-specific requirements.
  • Deliver patient care in a respectful, non-discriminatory manner, considering cultural diversity and age appropriateness to uphold autonomy, rights, and dignity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities subject to change.
