Position Overview

ATC Mount Laurel is seeking a skilled CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) to provide essential personal care services to patients across various healthcare environments. The CNA will operate under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, delivering nursing care tailored to the specific age groups of the patients served.

Work Schedule

SHIFTS: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM, 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM, and 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM
COMPENSATION: $24 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and paid holidays.

Qualifications for the CNA Role
  • Completion of a state-recognized certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation that meets state standards.
  • Possession of unrestricted certification as a CNA, in accordance with state-specific requirements.
  • A minimum of six months of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certification as mandated by the client facility, along with any other health screenings required by specific facilities or regulatory bodies.
Working Conditions
  • Various healthcare facility environments; potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other infectious materials.
Key Responsibilities of the CNA
  • Adhere to ATC policies and procedures.
  • Follow nursing policies and procedures of the client facility.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Effectively communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patient care as assigned, following facility protocols.
  • Implement the patient's care plan as directed.
  • Provide personal care services to patients as required.
  • Measure and record vital signs in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Track patient intake and output as assigned.
  • Enhance skills through participation in continuing education programs and meet state-specific requirements.
  • Deliver patient care in a respectful, non-discriminatory manner that acknowledges cultural diversity and promotes patient autonomy, rights, and dignity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities subject to change as needed.
