Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Manager to join our team at Kimbel Mechanical Systems, LLC. As a Material Manager, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient management of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Warehouse Associates to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies.
  • Purchase materials and supplies necessary to support our field operations.
  • Track and manage material orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Effectively manage incomplete purchase orders and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Coordinate material returns with vendors to ensure proper credit is received.
  • Ensure accurate receipt and stocking of materials within the warehouse.
  • Continuously improve warehouse layout and functionality to support operations.
  • Ensure accurate completion of job pulls as scheduled.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain MOA templates that accurately reflect warehouse stock items and layout.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
  • Assist the field team in locating materials needed.
  • Assist in conducting accurate mid-year and year-end warehouse inventories.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Recommend improvements to existing processes to reduce waste, increase quality, and increase productivity/efficiency.
