Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of mold dimensions to verify compliance with established tolerances.
- Evaluate the placement and sizing of special mold details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect all necessary hardware on the front face of panels for proper installation.
- Review rear face hardware and details post-concrete insertion for correctness.
- Prepare daily production prints each morning to guide operations.
- Assist the quality manager in concrete evaluations as needed.
- Support inserters in the correct installation of hardware components.
- Collaborate with the carpenter supervisor in mold construction and interpretation of prints.
Qualifications:
- Certification in ACI/PCI Level 1 and 2 is mandatory.
- Experience in reading blueprints is essential.
- A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated teamwork abilities.
- Capability to follow intricate instructions accurately.
- Basic planning and organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot heavy equipment issues.
- Proven skills in diagnosing and repairing vehicles while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and related equipment.
- Strong active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-driven, reliable, and possessing a robust work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires regular standing, twisting, and walking. The employee must be capable of using various hand tools and controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing on elevated surfaces, and performing actions such as stooping, kneeling, squatting, crouching, or crawling. The work environment is typically loud.
Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and the role involves consistent medium to heavy manual labor.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work boots, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection is mandatory.
Work Environment:
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions including sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust.
