About the Role:

As a Facilities Operations Coordinator at CBRE, you will oversee a dedicated team that collaborates with clients, service providers, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of service requests.

This position is integral to the Facilities Management sector, focusing on the operational aspects of various assets while providing essential support to Property Managers regarding maintenance and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations of the team. Develop work schedules, assign responsibilities, and facilitate cross-training among staff.
  • Act as the primary liaison for escalated communications among landlords, tenants, and service providers, ensuring that all protocols, policies, and reporting standards are understood and adhered to.
  • Organize regular maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze data from service request reports and prepare performance and progress reports for management, offering recommendations for efficiency improvements.
  • Design and supervise cleaning and sanitization schedules for the facility.
  • Conduct market analysis to assess costs and benefits when evaluating potential new vendors.
  • Monitor and manage both routine and exceptional facility-related expenses.
  • Tackle complex issues and identify effective solutions to meet team objectives.
  • Implement innovative techniques to ensure the team achieves its goals.
  • Contribute directly to the success of team objectives and those of related departments.
  • Ensure that both personal and team outcomes positively influence customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, embodying the values of CBRE RISE, and guide the team in applying fundamental knowledge of practices and procedures while fostering consensus.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Previous supervisory or shift management experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the job function, along with basic knowledge of related functions.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts or sensitive information clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational skills paired with a keen inquisitive mindset.
  • Strong mathematical skills, capable of performing calculations involving percentages, discounts, and markups.
