Position Overview:
As a vital member of our surgical team, the Oral Surgery Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting our oral surgeon throughout various dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring a sterile environment by adhering to infection control and biohazard protocols.
  • Operating and maintaining autoclave equipment.
  • Identifying and managing surgical instruments utilized in the clinic.
  • Preparing and dismantling rooms for IV anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  • Understanding and executing emergency protocols and managing emergency equipment.
  • Conducting regular maintenance on instruments, equipment, and headpieces.
  • Performing administrative duties including appointment scheduling, filing, and patient charting.
  • Making follow-up calls to patients to ensure their well-being.
  • Managing daily office operations including opening and closing procedures.
  • Holding a valid Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) is mandatory.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
