As a Construction Supervisor with KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of environmental remediation and construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and maintaining project quality control.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of onsite employees and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Manager, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
- Monitor and control project budgets, approving subcontractor invoices as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to KEMRON's safety protocols and incident reporting procedures.
- Travel up to 90% of the time to project sites, often in outdoor conditions.
- 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, preferably in environmental remediation and construction.
- Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the knowledge and skills required for the position.
- Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in environmental remediation and construction.
- First aid and safety precautions knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks according to project schedules.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Dependable attendance and consistency.
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training and 8-Hour Refresher training are required.
- Current valid driver's license and ability to pass a HAZWOPER medical exam and drug screen.
- Ability to understand and sign-off on Corporate and worksite Health and Safety Plans.
- Experience with and ability to direct tailgate safety meetings.
- Positive and professional personality traits, including teamwork, organization, self-motivation, and efficiency.
- Certified First Aid and CPR training.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
- Regularly works in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for the majority of a workday.
- May work in an environment with close proximity to moving vehicles and mechanical parts.
- Ability to work in full PPE, including respiratory protection.
- Ability to travel to work/project sites and traverse all types of terrain.
- Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned tasks.
- May require after-hours and weekend work, including travel based on project needs.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.
