Undergraduate Student for Science Resource Office

The Science Resource Office (SRO) is seeking a motivated and service-oriented undergraduate student to assist in the management of the Collaboration Space and support various initiatives undertaken by the SRO.
Situated within a dynamic environment, the Collaboration Space is intended for interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering innovative solutions that align with the Laboratory's objectives.
This area is equipped with a variety of technologies, including web conferencing tools, flexible workstations, and on-site computer access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional support in a bustling environment, managing multiple tasks and customer interactions effectively.
- Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, to engage with personnel at all levels.
- Utilize standard business software applications, including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with proficiency.
- Assist in the planning and logistical coordination of meetings and events, demonstrating familiarity with web conferencing platforms such as WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
- Show adaptability in work assignments and maintain a record of reliability and dependability through consistent attendance and quality performance.
- Pay close attention to detail and actively seek opportunities for process enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, maintaining a minimum of 12 semester credit hours and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with collaborative tools such as Google Docs and Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in managing multiple calendars using Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
