Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in a resource room setting for elementary school students. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, promoting academic and personal growth in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with special needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in a resource room setting, focusing on academic and life skills development
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of special education services
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success and well-being
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education or related field
- Teacher License from the New Mexico Public Education Department
