Job Title: Fitness Club Manager

Join Taymax Group, a leading fitness company, as a Fitness Club Manager and take on the challenge of leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff adheres to superior customer service guidelines.
  • Lead by example, maintaining consistent accountability for direct reports, and ensuring adherence to PF's values and goals.
  • Manage employee payroll, resolve issues, and handle progressive discipline and termination as needed.
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, ensuring the front desk area and lobby are clean and orderly.
  • Facilitate member requests, resolve issues, and communicate updates or events to members and guests.
  • Manage marketing efforts, authorize expenditures, and track statistics and reports.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma/GED equivalent, and a passion for fitness and health.
  • One to three years of experience in a management role preferred.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and the ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills.
  • Direct experience managing customer-focused teams in the fitness or similar industry.
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • A hard-working, enthusiastic, and energetic management style.
  • Organization, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and own reliable means of transportation.
Physical Demands:
  • Continual standing and walking.
  • Continual talking and listening in person or on the phone.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as well as bend, crouch, and reach on a daily basis.
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
