About the Opportunity

As an Autism Support Specialist at QSAC, Inc., you will have the chance to work closely with young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of 20-22 participants, providing support and guidance in achieving their educational, employment, and independent living goals.
  • Develop and implement person-centered GOALS Development Plans addressing multiple life domains, including education, employment, and community engagement.
  • Facilitate work-based learning opportunities and job placement services, assisting participants in gaining practical experience and skills.
  • Assist participants in developing self-advocacy skills, enabling them to communicate effectively and make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Document participant progress and maintain accurate case records, ensuring that data is collected and analyzed to inform program improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, with experience working with individuals with similar needs.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with participants, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform program improvement initiatives.
Compensation Package
  • Estimated salary range: $42,500 - $47,000 per annum.
