What We Seek

A key aspect of Pabio's offering is the photorealistic visualization of users' living spaces. Rather than a traditional e-commerce interface, we provide a catalog experience where users can view an automatically generated 3D representation of their apartment. To enhance our core technology, we are in search of a Senior 3D Software Developer / Technical Director with a robust background in Blender and 3D architecture. This position demands proficiency as both a 3D artist and a programmer. As our 3D Technical Director, you will collaborate directly with the founders, Carlo and Anand, playing a vital role in advancing the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the evolution of our 3D rendering pipeline.
  • Create scripts for the automated generation of Blender file templates.
  • Develop custom Blender add-ons and plugins to streamline common tasks.
  • Produce photorealistic apartment renders and design 3D product models.
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues to enhance their performance and be open to receiving feedback.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of 3D rendering workflows and pipelines.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in computer graphics.
  • Expertise in Blender, encompassing both modeling and rendering.
  • Proficient in Python and Blender scripting.
  • Experience in creating Blender add-ons.
  • A strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering the highest quality product.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with other 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3DS Max, Maya, Cinema 4D).
  • Experience with web-based 3D graphics (e.g., WebGL).

Engineering Culture at Pabio

Pabio is fundamentally a technology-driven company. Our proprietary rendering engine, which generates photorealistic interior design concepts, is built using custom Blender plugins.
