Objective:
The Slot Machine Project Specialist is responsible for executing projects and tasks with precision and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential to the role:
- Install, relocate, convert, and decommission slot machines and related equipment across various establishments.
- Configure locks, player tracking systems, and machine settings on all slot machines.
- Install and terminate CAT-6 and Fiber optic cables.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all slot machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair slot machine components and associated equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Slot Technician or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of slot machine repair, including hardware and software components.
- Familiarity with the slot installation process.
- Experience with Konami Synkros player tracking systems is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety guidelines and operational manuals. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English is also required.
REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various formats. Capability to address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Employees must qualify for any licenses and permits mandated by federal, state, and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands necessary for this role include:
- Regularly standing and using hands to manipulate objects and tools.
- Frequently reaching with hands and arms, and engaging in verbal communication.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must also be able to push/pull up to 300 pounds with assistance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment typically involves moderate noise levels. Employees may encounter environments with secondhand tobacco smoke.
