Job Title: Neonatologist Opportunity

Norton Childrens NEONATOLOGY, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible and fellowship-trained neonatologist.

The Role:

  • The selected candidate will have the opportunity to pursue a career path in clinical and academic medicine.
  • The neonatology program receives referrals from throughout Kentucky and Indiana at two neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), including one of the nations largest Level IV NICUs at Norton Childrens Hospital in downtown Louisville.
  • Through various partnerships, outreach services also are provided at several Level II and Level III NICUs throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The physician will have an opportunity to choose a clinical path, academic path or both.
  • The physician will have access to a network of providers and hospitals that offer all pediatric subspecialties and advanced technical capabilities.
  • Several multidisciplinary clinics are in development in the areas of bronchopulmonary dysplasia, extremely low birth weight, congenital diaphragmatic hernia and more.
