Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research and Development Intern to join our team at OSI Industries. As a key member of our R&D team, you will assist in the development of new food products, from concept to production.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in food product formulation, including bench-top testing and production runs
  • Support customer presentations and product demonstrations
  • Contribute to laboratory and plant operations, including stocking, ordering, and setup/cleanup
Internship Outcomes and Expectations

As an R&D Intern, you can expect to gain hands-on experience in food product safety, culinary skills, and food formulation. You will also develop skills in cost improvement and product development, from concept to carton.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts program or related field
  • Preferably pursuing a BS in Food Science or related area of study
  • Ability to consume and ingest protein products
  • No allergies or sensitivities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry ingredients
