Job Description:

The Entegris six-month co-op program provides students with an in-depth and extensive work experience. Our co-ops are fully integrated into the team and work on projects and assignments with real business impact, giving our students an edge over their peers.

The Role:

Our team is seeking a R&D Pad Co-op to join our team for a six-month assignment. This role is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals on developing new polymer material products and material characterization capabilities.
  • Assist in developing new polymer materials and utilizing advanced characterization techniques to help scientists and engineers select material or formulation designs.
  • Provide support to build mechanistic understanding to solve chemical mechanical polarization pad development challenges.

Requirements:

  • People who are curious, creative, ambitious, and ready to make an impact from day one.
  • Knowledge of basic safety practices in a lab environment.
  • Knowledge of key analytical approaches in chemistry and/or material science, and basic statistical analysis skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a master or doctoral degree in polymer-related focus.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student.
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p).
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
