Position Overview:
A leading estate brokerage and management firm located in central Ohio, known for delivering innovative real estate solutions to clients in the commercial sector, is currently looking for a full-time, junior property maintenance specialist. This role involves collaborating with our skilled maintenance team to manage our diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs across office, retail, and industrial facilities under supervision.
- Address maintenance requests from commercial tenants and complete work orders efficiently and safely.
- Deliver excellent customer service to building occupants.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings.
- Implement preventative maintenance strategies for building systems.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of various systems.
- Support and collaborate with other team members in the department.
- Provide 24/7 emergency building support on a rotating schedule.
- Coordinate with accounting for client billing and manage building budgets.
- Adhere to safety policies, technical instructions, and guidelines.
- Utilize basic hand tools and specialized equipment as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Desirable: Bachelor's Degree, Trade School, or Apprenticeship experience.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in general building maintenance.
- Basic computer proficiency required, including familiarity with I-pad based billing software.
- Strong professional and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently while being open to learning from others.
