Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Engineer Global Requirements Lead

Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Engineer Global Requirements Lead to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be responsible for leading the development of global requirements for the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of global requirements for the C2BMC program
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products are generated on time and within resources
  • Provide cross-functional support for requirements management and DOORS administration
  • Develop and maintain system and component baselines in a requirements management system
  • Communicate effectively with customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience
  • Ability to analyze high-level needs and develop requirements management schema and attributes
  • Experience integrating product lines, generating responsible sections of capability specifications, DOORS processes and procedures, training less experienced personnel in SE techniques, reviewing the content and details of technical products, and acting as a technical interface to MDA working-level counterparts as required
  • Experience performing Global DOORS Administration for COS, HSV, and MDIOC
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
