Role Summary: As a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you will focus on operational security across all facets of Information Services. This role requires a deep comprehension of complex systems and layered information to identify and communicate risks effectively. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and mitigating security incidents across our global endpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain security operations tools and processes.
  • Foster security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Implement solutions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Support and troubleshoot network security across all branches globally.
  • Respond to security incidents worldwide.
  • Identify, remediate, and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments utilizing threat modeling techniques.
  • Research and recommend systems and procedures for data protection and incident containment.
  • Monitor systems for unauthorized access.
  • Design and deploy security infrastructure and applications.
  • Train team members and promote a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDR tools and security monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools.
  • Strong understanding of information technology principles.
  • Passion for cybersecurity.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience with firewalls, proxies, and VPNs.
  • Prior involvement in investigating cybersecurity incidents.
  • Current knowledge of IT security trends.
  • Experience in penetration testing.
  • Participation in after-hours work and on-call rotations.
  • Experience with security automation solutions.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.

Desired Skills:

  • Broad knowledge of operating systems and network security.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and practices.
  • Ability to solve complex business challenges related to cybersecurity.
  • Capability to create and enhance cybersecurity processes.
  • Proficiency in translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNA.
