About the Role

MPP Orora, a leading manufacturer of custom and stock corrugated products, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support company management in Union City, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors, obtain necessary information, and notify colleagues.
  • Answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and take messages.
  • Scan and file paperwork, perform general clerical duties, and retrieve mail.
  • Monitor office supplies, take and sign off on deliveries, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in computer software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, operate various office machines, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-2 years of related work experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
  • Upbeat and friendly personality.
  • Ability to write correspondence and add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Proficient in computer applications and software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bi-lingual preferred, but not required.
