Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Coordinator to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transfer of patients between facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate direct admissions and hospital transfers to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Manage ambulance transfers from HCA Division hospitals to other facilities and post-acute care providers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient transfers and ensure seamless communication.
  • Document and track all hospital transfers and transports to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies for enhancing patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 5 years of acute care RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • 2 years of Critical Care nursing experience, including ED, ICU, and/or House Supervisor experience.
