Job Title: Ambulatory Surgery Center Surgical Scrub Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team at Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic, P.S.C. in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field in the operating room, securing and preparing all necessary supplies, and providing supportive care to patients during the pre-operative phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating room
  • Secure and prepare all necessary supplies for surgical intervention
  • Perform instrument counts prior to each procedure
  • Prepare patient skin for surgical treatment
  • Position and re-position patient during surgery
  • Help monitor patients during surgery
  • Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase
  • Collect and label specimens taken during surgical procedure
  • Follow all federal, state, and departmental safety procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Surgical technician certification from an accredited school or training program
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room
  • New graduate acceptable

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, variable shifts, 10 hour or 12 hour shifts available
