Job Summary:

Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic, P.S.C. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an OR circulator in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, care, and needs of patients during surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a sterile environment, managing personnel, and facilitating smooth surgical flow. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as patient advocate to oversee safety, care, and needs of patients during surgical procedures
• Ensure consent forms are accurate and surgical sites are marked
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after surgery; plan intraoperative care
• Observe surgery and provide assistance to sterile team and anesthesia
• Anticipate needs of surgeon and OR team
• Oversee sterility of entire procedure, including proper sterile technique, breaks in sterile field, and managing personnel entering/exiting OR
• Conduct proper handling of specimens
• Facilitate smooth functioning of surgical flow, anticipating last-minute changes in schedule
• Support patient care cycle by providing compassionate patient-centered quality care to TCO patients and family members

Requirements:

• Current Washington State RN license
• Current ACLS/BLS, or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Prior patient care experience in a surgical setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years nursing experience in an operating room
• Scrub experience

Schedule:

Variable, 10hr shift, 12hr shift
Monday - Friday, rotating days off
No nights or weekends
No call
Major holidays off
