Job Summary

The Gaming Technician I is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electronic malfunctions on VLT machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers and employees.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic issues on VLT machines, with minimal assistance.
  • Utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts, as needed.
  • Replace parts and circuit boards that have caused malfunctions, and repair some circuit boards with assistance.
  • Act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas, as required.
  • Maintain advanced skill levels and develop expertise in new technologies for slot machines.
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance, VLT machine inspection, machine moving and installation, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, with some grounds and maintenance experience.
  • Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including swing shifts and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General understanding of electronics at the circuit board level.
  • General understanding of microprocessors.
  • Ability to use all machine test equipment.
Working Conditions

The Gaming Technician I will spend time on the gaming floor, subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke. This position may be subjected to hazards such as electrical shocks. The successful candidate must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
