Licensed Practical Nurse Clinic

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with the preparation of equipment and aids providers during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
- Observe, record, and report patients' condition and reaction to drugs or treatments to providers.
- Oversee appointment bookings and ensure timely flow of patients.
- Perform various tasks, including obtaining vital signs, performing initial assessments, and coordinating patient transfers to hospitals and/or discharging patients.
- May perform additional tasks, such as administering IV push medications, adding medications to IV, and making arrangements for patient testing and admissions, under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.
- Valid state license to practice nursing.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
