About Job:
As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the project team to complete builds on time with high-quality standards and safety.
You will significantly impact the company's mission to be the most trusted name in the industry by managing, training, and organizing field team members and coordinating with other trades and customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Team Management: Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
- Project Coordination: Plan, organize, and direct the production of contracted scopes of work, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades. Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
- Resource Management: Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet project schedules.
- Adherence to Standards: Uphold standards of quality, safety, and best practices in all project activities.
Qualifications:
- Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing entire new construction projects from inception to completion. Experience managing projects with an average mechanical contract value of $10M is highly preferred. Multifamily experience is preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- An active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
- Knowledge of the National Building Code, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
- Basic computer and writing skills are required.
