We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care, taking into account developmental, cultural, and age-specific differences.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.
- Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all patients.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
- Current State of Idaho Registered Nurse License.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 7 days of employment start date.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Previous critical care experience strongly preferred.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana.
