We're seeking a skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a PACU RN, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and care for post-op patients, ensuring their safe transition from surgery to recovery
  • Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's unique needs and condition
  • Collaborate with physicians to report critical patient changes and ensure timely interventions
  • Assess patient readiness for transfer to a room, prioritizing their comfort and safety

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
