Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Designer to join our Boston, MA office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing calculations, system design, equipment selections, and reports to ensure project completeness and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems according to code and IMEG standards
  • Research commercially available equipment
  • Assist with client relations, project design notebook, and documentation
  • Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines
  • Document design decisions, meetings, and instructions from clients
  • Review project documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and issue addendum information
  • Review design methods, procedures, and client correspondence
  • Conduct job site observations and other services as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Science) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
  • Knowledge of physical principles, laws, and their interrelationships
  • Skills in Microsoft Office programs, CAD software, and BIM
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Routine local travel with occasional overnight stays
