Rnbonline is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to enhance our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients by executing a variety of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing a range of transactions while exercising discretion regarding the legitimacy of the transactions presented, including cash handling, negotiable instruments, and transfers.
  • Processing checks for cashing, payment, and deposits, ensuring endorsement verification, legitimacy, and fund availability.
  • Maintaining and reconciling the cash drawer in accordance with established protocols.
  • Referring any questionable transactions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting clients both in-person and via phone with inquiries, account maintenance, and research.
  • Receiving loan payments and issuing receipts.
  • Handling mail deposits, night drop, and ATM deposits under dual control.
  • Managing stop and hold orders effectively.
  • Offering and maintaining bank products such as cashier's checks, gift cards, and money orders.
  • Processing customer requests, including address changes, check orders, and PIN modifications.
  • Opening and maintaining new accounts, ensuring proper identification and documentation.
  • Keeping accurate monthly records of account openings and closures.
  • Managing all functions related to safe deposit boxes, including access and maintenance.
  • Staying informed about bank services and products to guide clients in selecting the most suitable options.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Promoting bank services and cross-selling products.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Balancing and maintaining the ATM.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Education/Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in banking is preferred, along with cash handling experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Mathematical Skills: Capability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and address problems with concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with word processing software and general computer operations.

Physical Demands:

Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and must possess specific vision abilities. Regular tasks include standing, talking, hearing, and using hands for various functions.
