Position Overview:
Adelphi Medical Staffing is in search of dedicated Speech Language Support Specialists to deliver essential services to students across various educational settings in Colorado. The selected individuals will collaborate closely with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to implement educational strategies and therapeutic interventions for students experiencing speech and language challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • SPLA Certification
  • Prior experience in educational environments or with children

Core Responsibilities:
  • Modify educational resources and tools to provide tailored interventions that address individual student requirements.
  • Gather and analyze data on student progress in speech and language domains to document advancements towards IEP objectives.
  • Facilitate communication among SLPs, school personnel, and parents (when necessary) regarding student achievements and goals.
  • Deliver direct instruction as designed by the SLP to support the remediation of speech and language difficulties.
  • Assist in the use of augmentative communication devices and strategies for students as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Support the SLP in obtaining necessary assessments and materials.
  • Engage in professional development sessions and workshops as required, and attend parent/staff meetings upon SLP invitation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
