Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Project Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer (PE) plays a critical role in the success of our programs, serving as the technical authority and responsible for executing assigned projects. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering processes and policies, as well as experience in program planning, guidance, and execution within scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute program activities, ensuring adherence to life-cycle processes and risk management.
  • Document and approve program plans, ensuring technical compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Functional Managers to utilize Earned Value (EV) reporting and Labor Tracking System (LTS) for consistent performance tracking.
  • Interact with Customers and Senior Leadership, providing technical expertise and support throughout the program lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or similar technical area, with a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
  • Availability for international travel (10-25%).
  • Experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution, as well as broad understanding of engineering processes and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing in a Project Engineering or similar role.
  • Development and maintenance of a project baseline.
  • Control Account Management (CAM) or IPT Lead experience.
  • Software development experience.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.
