Project Interface Coordinator Engineer

Job Summary:
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a highly skilled Project Interface Coordinator Engineer to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing an execution framework that aligns with interface management responsibilities, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define interfaces between different components of the construction project, including electrical and mechanical systems, and construction phases.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination between different teams or systems that interact, including regular meetings, detailed documentation, and the use of collaborative tools.
- Resolve conflicts that arise from overlapping work or misalignments between different scopes of the project, including mediation and adjustments to schedules or plans.
- Keep detailed records of how interfaces are managed, including documentation that helps in understanding the flow of the project and resolving any disputes that may arise.
- Proactively identify and manage risks associated with interfaces, including anticipating potential issues and planning mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Seven (7) years of experience in a significant design engineering, designer, or construction engineering role with demonstrated knowledge in project management or interface management, and/or project controls.
- Successful track record as a Project Manager on large or mega-sized engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) projects.
- Certification in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), is highly recommended.
- International project or area management experience in diverse cultural environments is highly valued.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify potential solutions.
- Technical and business writing proficiency.
- Basic computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Role requires travel, with mobility greater than 25%.
