Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Woodinville, WA. As a Site Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Mobile Equipment: Safely operate mobile equipment on plant property, including loaders, haul trucks, and water trucks.
  • Maintain Plant Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of plant work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for employees.
  • Assist with Plant Tasks: Assist with plant tasks, including lubrication, maintenance, and repairs, to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Transport Materials: Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Safety First Attitude: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math and science.
  • Desire to Work Cooperatively: Demonstrate a desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work safely and independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a strong ability to learn through on-the-job training.
  • Physical Demands: Be in good physical condition, with the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods, and work in extreme temperatures.
  • Flexible Schedule: Be able to work a flexible schedule, with flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and nights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an open pit mine or similar environment.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience leading teams, with a strong ability to motivate and direct employees.
  • Mobile Equipment Experience: Experience operating mobile equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, and water trucks.

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $51.25 per hour.

Conditions of Employment
  • Post-Offer Physical Examination: Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • FMCSA Regulated Testing: Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role Operations: Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
