About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design team at GPD Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical oversight and guidance to junior engineers, while also collaborating with project managers to deliver high-quality electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers, ensuring that electrical designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, estimates, and proposals, ensuring that electrical design requirements are met.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing training and guidance to help them grow in their careers and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion GPD's quality assurance and client standards, working closely with the QC Chief and project managers to ensure that electrical designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Technology degree from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 15+ years of experience in the A/E industry.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and empowering newer engineers in their careers.
  • Established experience in design oversight for electrical projects.
  • Proficient with NEC, NFPA, Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, Bluebeam etc.
