Job Description

Nature of Work:

This position involves planning, organizing, and conducting recreational activities at City playgrounds, recreation centers, and parks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the promotion, organization, and leadership of recreational activities for all age groups.
  • Coordinating routine maintenance tasks, such as litter removal, mowing, watering, and ball field preparation.
  • Working with independence to conduct activities with assigned groups within the recreation program.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in recreation, arts, or related fields preferred.

Certifications:

  • CPR certification required.

Background Check:

  • Must pass a Level 2 Background Check.

Other:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
