Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Lead the financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
  • Work with operations to drive cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function.
  • Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's ERP system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar ERP systems.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial forecasting and business analysis.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
